A troop built by dads, for sons
Trail Life Troop TN-5667 is a local Trail Life USA troop chartered in middle Tennessee. We meet weekly during the school year and run monthly outings.
Our mission
To guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure. Plain and simple: we want our sons to grow into the kind of men we hoped to be.
How we're organized
Boys are grouped by age into Woodlands (K–5), Navigators (6–8), and Adventurers (9–12). Inside each trail, boys belong to a patrol — a small, consistent group of brothers led by trusted adult leaders.
Leadership
Our leaders are dads from the troop who meet Trail Life USA's national requirements, including background checks and child protection training. Roles include Troopmaster, Trail Guides, patrol leaders, treasurer, and a chaplain.
Faith foundation
Trail Life is unapologetically Christian. We open meetings in prayer, study Scripture together, and tie outdoor experience to character formation grounded in the Bible. Families of all church backgrounds are welcome.
